Charitable Service Committee

Proverbs 19:17 teaches us that whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord. To that end, St Mark has formed a Charitable Service Committee (CSC) and a new way of communicating service opportunities and requesting signups of volunteers. The CSC is actively working with our parish partners and the wider diocesan community to serve the needs of local communities and to help facilitate linking volunteers to the needs.  Frequently charitable service organizations are in greater need of volunteers even instead of money!  St Mark has created a new Volunteers web page on our official parish website and we now have a “Sign-up Genius” to make it simple to find service opportunities and sign-up.
